Just found this forum
and I'm loving it!
I'm currently knitting a hooded sweatshirt for my dh, having just finished a baby blanket for my next grandchild due in a few weeks.
Have a pair of socks on the needle too.

Welcome aboard!!

It IS a really nice board and I'm sure you'll feel right at home in no time

Maybe you could go over to the introductions topic in General Knitting and say howdy to everyone there aswell?

And, on a personal note: which babyblanket did you make? i'm still supposed to make one for a baby born last Monday and the pattern I found didn't work out for me so I'm on the hunt for a new one :D

oh wow, didn't know there was an intro board! I always seem to jump in to the deep end and start swimming.
I did a blanket that reminds me of a basketweave. it was something like k5, p5, repeat across. and then turn and start p5 k5 across.
I used a multicolored baby yarn. Seems the blue just STANDS out, and the baby is a girl but my daughter doesn't care. she loved the blanket and has it in the baby bed already. I'm a cross stitcher as well and I'd done a little pillow to hang on the door recently as well.

Their bouncy, trouncy, flouncy....

but the best thing about Tiggers...
