What does this mean!

mark first st of rnd and move marker at beg of each following rnd.

Trying to make sense of this pattern http://www.wrights.com/class/needlew.../cablevest.htm

Is this too hard to start with?

Thanks!

They just want you to put a marker on your needle between the last stitch and the first stitch of the round so you know where the new round begins. When they say move it, it's just from one needle to the other to continue to mark the round.

I think it's a case of just too much information.

Is a round just a new row?

Yes, its a row. They just call it a round when you're knitting, well, in the round.
