knitting a flower
I am super new to knitting. I can knit and tonight I am going to try my hand at purl. I have made 2 scarfs and a poncho for me and my daughter. There is a pattern I am obsessed with and can't figure out. It is for a flower that is in this pattern.
How do I knit the front and back of each row as it says in step 3 and 5?

a good place to look on here is on the "abbreviations explained" tab....there are videos on there. in the left hand column look for K1 f&B which is knit 1 in the front and back of the loop. there are two videos one for continental and one for english. here is the conti link.

that should help you understand!
