Shawls (weaving in ends?)

I am new to this and i just got done knitting a shawl. I am not familiar with knitting vocabulary (yes i'm that new to this=), And lets just say i have had to add a lot of yarn to my shawl. Now i have the ends hanging out of my shawl. How do i stitch the ends into my shawl?

Any help is appreciated!

There is a GREAT video on THIS PAGE, about half-way down, under "joining yarn", called "duplicate stitch join". Although you have already joined your yarn, Amy also shows you how to weave in ends....check it out & let us know if you have more questions...
