How do I use a stitch holder?
Real beginner question - but how do I physically use a stitch holder?!

Do I have to actually insert the holder through the stitches?

Sorry! I'm a complete novice

Laura, the sts that have to go onto a st holder are put onto to the holder from the left hand needle by putting the end of the st holder in the st as if to purl & moving each st individually onto the holder....is this what u mean?
