Blogs?
I'm thinking of starting one, but I didn't see a thread about any special things I need to do...I did see where someone said something about 100 things, but couldn't find what it's all about. Clues please?

Your blog is what you make it....no real rules there, Jan!

Just come up with a clever (or not so clever, if you wish) name for it and start typing whatever comes in to your little knitting knoggin!

There are a couple type of blogs..

1) A thread started in the "Blog" section of these forums

2) A blog started at blogger.com

3) A piece of software you have hosted at a webhost that does pretty much what blogger does, but you have greater control over it..

Depends on what you want to do Blogger is pretty easy to mess with.. but if you don't really want to do that, just start a thread in the blog forum with some catch title *laughs*

Thanks for the help and info! Maybe this weekend I can get it started.

Norman I do know basic HTML and I appreciate the offer, but I think I'll just stick to the forum for now. :D

I started one just recently on Blogger and it really isn't that difficult. But it can be addicting trying to figure out how to do different things on it thus wasting valuable knitting time - especially trying to figure out how to link in my finished objects correctly!! And now I'll probably spend hours and HOURS trying to figure out how to get a picture in the title!

And Rebecca, after the novelty wears off, I'll probably end up just using it as a place to put all my knitting in one spot where I can editorialize about the progress of each item.

Lots folks here started by making a list of 100 things about themselves. It could help to get the juices flowing.
