OOps. I should have looked harder and seen this thread before I started a similar one. Sorry about that.

My favorite books are anything by VC Andrews (aka Virginia Andrews). I also read some Dean Koontz and mystery types.

My husband works in a retail book chain and he's always bringing home new books (reading copies) so we're never without something to read in this house. LOL

For mystery lovers, M.C. Beaton's Hamish Macbeth and Agatha Raisin series are must-reads! Beaton's style is really clever, the narration is hilarious, and her characters are completely loveable.

I also like Lawrence Block's Bernie Rhodenbarr mysteries, "The Burglar Who..."
