Oh Julie!!! Me too Me too!!! I've been searching for a few hat patterns because I need to make a few and that would be perfect!!!! I'm not sure of my measurement - I wonder what the standard woman's head is?

You're in trouble now, Julie. We're ALL going to want this. Maybe you'll need to rethink the publication issue!?!?

Do you think this hat would work as a chemo cap, or is the lacework too "open"?

In any event ... I want to make one for myself and I'll try it out as a chemo cap, too.

Okay, here's an update: I think I'm done with the pattern, I am just testing it myself now to make sure it's not too far off. Good thing, because the one I started this afternoon was waaaay too big. But the one I have on the needles now seems to be the right size! :D

I'm really excited because I had considered submitting it to headhuggers.org before but hadn't gotten around to resizing the pattern. Y'all have given me the push I needed!

I love this hat! I have been lurking for a while, but became a member just so that I could post! I would love to test the pattern out for you as well, for myself or for my 4 year old DD.
