Adding crochet to knitting
I'm a beginning knitter and finished the cell phone bag from Berroco's free patterns up to the point where it says to finish with crochet.

I can do basic crochet by itself, but I don't understand how to start crocheting along the knitted edge. Are there instructions or videos out there that show how to start?

This is the pattern I'm working on-

Just insert your hook into the stitch at the edge, as if you were crocheting a second row. Pull your first loop through the first loop at the right-hand edge and treat that like your first crochet loop, do your sc and reach into the next knit stitch as if it were the next crochet stitch.
