What is a seed stich
I am a new knitter and I have no clue what is a seed stich. If anyone would be willing I would appreciate an explaintion.

Welcome newbie from a nearly newbie!

A seed stitch is where you have a knit 1, purl 1 pattern, and it's reversible as well. It's not a ribbing because the knits and purls don't line up. It sorta looks like this:

v~v~v~v~
~v~v~v~v
v~v~v~v~

Seed stitch is K1, P1, K1, P1...etc, then the next row you do the opposite (knit the knits, purl the purls). Video here.

Using an odd number of CO stitches makes it easier. Then you can always start with a knit and not have to remember what it was on the previous row. Works for me.
