FO- My first finished project, hat
Now that I posted my soaker, i will show my forst project, a hat for my daughter, I made it a bit big, but I want it to fit for a couple years so I thought it would be better that way.
I made up my own pattern I guess, i just looked at a bunch of patterns to get the idea on sizing and to figure out how to do the decreases, then I just went for it! I used this really super soft wool/cotton/acrilyc blend yarn I got at joanns. Im anxious to do more different varieties, she loves hats!!!

here is a link to it on the joanns web page if it works
http://www.joanns.com/shop/shop_zoom.jhtml;$sessionid$4EPGX2QAABHBOP4SY5NBJAR 50LD3OEPO?CATID=110288&PRODID=123086&SKUID=123108& _requestid=133303

I bought it at my local joanns with a 50%off coupon RIGHT after i decided to try knitting, really it was the softest yarn I have ever felt, that was my motivation to actually try to make something!

I went back for some of the peach too and now have bought 3 more balls of the peach in hopes that I can learn to make a sweater with it before NEXT winter!
