Well, if there was ever a crack cocaine of yarn, this seems to be it. The colorways are absolutely scrumptious!!!!! I sense large purchases being made in the future .....

I was just checking out my local yarn shops website and I noticed she has added the whole list of her yarns and she has the artyarns. She has Wool Fur, Ultramerino, Supermerino, Handpaint striped sock yarn.
I can't wait to get back there to check them out in person,

I bought some of the Supermerino for the test knit that I'm doing for Denise (foldedbird). I really like how it knits up, and I really love the color (mine is a mix of blues, very pretty).

That color is pretty fibergirl. It looks like what the color was I just used from my grandsons sweater.

I saw some Pima cotton at Knitpicks, and I still have my Birthday certificate--How would that be for a little boy's sweater?? Alabama doesn't get very very cold--and I want it to be soft and comfy. Now that I think I might dare do a sweater at all--I want to use just the right yarn for little Davy Boy

down in Alabama!! If there is a blend that would maybe be softer and has a little miore give--culd you maybe give me some tips??

BOY!! It has really rained here in Tidewater VA all night and all day!

My poor Kitty cat, Scraps is Soooo depressed...he's just moping around. Me--I love it--I don't have any reason to get out and I can knit, and read blogs and surf the net until we have to go do our Christmas cantata ONE MORE TIME tonight!! THREEnihgts is 2 too many---standing for and hour and a half is just too much for many of us,, But it always gets me more ready for Christmas, doesn't you??

I used knitpicks' crayon, which is the pima cotton for some things for my granddaughter... these spiral socks, this poncho using mitered blocks of the Crayon, and this halter & hat & my step-daughter tells me that Allysa LOVES all of it...it's very, very soft. Although a friend of mine @ knitpicks suggests cold water wash, flat to dry & a brief run thru the dryer on air to make it nice & poofy again
