are there ever any knitting conventions anywhere?

I've seen Stitches East and Stitches Mid-West mentioned, but I'm not sure what they entail. Probably a Google search will help. There are also several Sheep and Wool shows that are huge draws in different parts of the country.

your'e in AZ, not too far from here.

I went to the Stitches West market last February and I plan to go again next year. it's only 5 min from my house!

there's got to be some out there.
a friend and I have gone on numerous cross stitching retreats, camps, and a cruise.
we are hoping to find some knitting ones as well!
