The Felted Baseball-style Cap

I finished it Sunday and was waiting for a better picture, but alas, this one will have to do. The pattern says to felt again if it is too big for Baby Dakota still. I folded in it half sideways to put a crease in the center of the brim, left two books on it overnight, and looks much more like a ball cap now. My entire crew of assistants (who saw the finished hat at the LYS and helped choose the yarn, etc.) is pleased with the result. I told my brother the whole story so he is looking forward to the cap and knows how everyone conspired together.

I sorta wish we'd used grey now instead of orchid, but oh well.
