Help with pattern...

Hi alll,
I'm wanting to knit this scarf for my mom for christmas:

But I don't know how to make the diamond edges and the pattern doesnt seem to account for it. Any ideas/suggestions/links?

I suspect that with the increases and decreases in the pattern, the points will form automatically. I suggest you give it a try and see.
