FO a felted hat for my mother
I used Galway in red wool and thinking I might not have enough ( I did) I made band larger in lambs pride oatmeal. This was sp fast also, started and finished while watching Harry Potter Chamber of secrets. It is on the second day of drying however. The pattern is fibertrends from my LYS. The other half here loved it and is taking me to LYS for m,ore wool so I can quickly make a couple for his family members.

there is a little tail hanging out, it will be cut soon. I used it to pull it out, my washer gets really hot water , too hot to hold onto project.

Thank you, I only used the red because it was the only one I had 2 skeins of exactly in wool. It was a set for my clogs and I thought what the hell, didnt even finish my green clogs might as well use it. I didnt have a plan for anyone, just wanted to see if I could do it and how hard it would be. My sister said hey that is the color of one of moms long coats, so I thought ok, give it to her, she is the type to put a hat on because her hair is way too funky a lot and she wears hats all winter. We tease her that she wears them because she cant get a comb through the wiry mop.
