Tubey KAL
There has been some interest in doing Tubey from the latest Knitty.com as a knit-along. We will likely start in January, as everyone is wrapping up Christmas knitting (hah, pun not intended ). Please join us!

here's the link to the pattern: http://knitty.com/ISSUEwinter05/PATTtubey.html

I'm using KP Andean Silk. Should end up being around $40 worth of yarn, but with some leftovers.

You gonna join us?!!

Oooooh....Andean Silk -- great idea! It's so yummy....and I am so tempted to join in on this one, though usually I don't have the patience for adult-sized sweaters.

I wonder how this pattern would be for a newbie. I glanced at it and it hurt just to read it. LOL,
Susie

I enjoy reading, quilting (started 10/11/2003), bread baking, purse making, making fabric bowls. I use to macramé and decorate cakes.
I started hand knitting (10/01/2005) and got my embroidery machine for Christmas 2005. I had 2 Bond Incredible Sweater Machines given to me in Feb. of 2007 that I'm really enjoying. http://susies1955.myphotoalbum.com/

Angelia,
I made a sweater for my grandson and it turned out pretty well.
The crochet cast on I guess scared me off and then this ........3x1 Rib (Worked in the round over a multiple of 4 sts):Round 1: [K3, p1] around. repeat this round for 3x1 Rib and..................
I think I wore Ingrid out with that sweater I did. She was so good to me. I'm not one to ask for help ever so it bothered me. I guess it is time to DROP that crap. LOL.
If you all really want to answer a ton of questions, I may give it a try.
I think I'm getting obsessed or maybe becoming a normal knitter. I'm getting ready to start another dishcloth and I have a Multidirectional Scarf I want to start and now this........oh and I have another sweater I want to do OH and I want to try socks and..............OH MY.
Thanks Angelia,
Susie
