from the mouths of babes
I was running into Meijer this morning to get a few things, and I told my two-year-old we were getting three things: chicken, yogurt, and yarn (I needed black wool to finish my clogs). She paused for a sec, then looked at me a little confused and said, "because you don't have any yarn at your home??"

Busted!!

My son, who was just over 3yrs old when I started knitting used to call it "needling" . We'd walk through Wal-Mart or wherever and he'd see the yarn aisle and say "Mommy, there's your needling stuff."

very cute...I miss the fun things that kids say...now that my boys are older. The other day my 17 year son said he thought that women would be happy if they have enough jewelry and candles ! :rofling: :rofling:

( I maybe own 4 candles total ) so not sure what he was thinking...it was in reference to little boy toys and how when they get older...they just have big boys toys...

I pity his poor future wife if he thinks that candles are "it"

When Ryan was 3 we were in ACMoore and he got all excited because his name was up in big letters--YARN. Maybe that's why I like him so much!

That is so cute! But really... between us... is that why his name is Ryan? You can tell us
