That is sooo cool! I love the colors and the style. Can't I have it...PLEASE?

Wow, thanks, everyone! Let's see if I can answer the questions in one fell swoop ...

First of all, this is technically an Oregon Tote because of the techniques used to define the corners, bind it off, and make holes for the handles. However, the size was made according to the Booga Bag instructions. Of course, since I used two strands of wool held together, that actually made it bigger than a Booga.

It is about 11-1/2" tall by 10" wide (12" w/out the sides pleated) and about 5" from front to back.

I thought I had knit this one to be about the same height as the Plum & Periwinkle bags I had done, but it came out much taller. The P&P ones are both only about 10" tall (other dimensions the same).

Oh, boy, and how much yarn DID I use??? The original pattern calls for about 600 yds of bulky. Naturally, I used more because I used two strands of worsted, but SHEESH, I can't remember if I bought 3 or 4 skeins (@ 190 yd/skein) of each color. I know that I have an entire pink skein & about 1/2 of two others left, plus about 1/2 of one of the green skeins left.

So, I guess that means I would've used 2-1/2 of green and 1 of pink, if I only bought 3 of ea. (and I *think* I did). So that's only 665 yds of the worsted.

If I bought 4 of each, then I would've used 2 pink and 3-1/2 green, which would be 1,045 yards.

Considering that I downsized the bag, I guess it could truly be the lower number, though.

There ... did I hit all the questions??? Oh, except for Kayeknit's!! And, sorry, but I have to say, "NO!!" It's a gift for someone.

Well done!! So what is the difference between an Oregon tote and a booga?
