knitting with double stand
I am attempting to knit a scarf that calls for double strands. Do I cast on the same way as single strand, except use two threads. Are they knotted together somehow? Thank you,

It's super easy to knit double stranded, just hold both yarns as though they are one. No need to do anything other than that. The one thing to be careful of is that you make sure you catch both strands every time you knit a stitch, otherwise, you could end up with a lot of extra stitches.
