YO for a purl st?
Hi all,

I'm new to knitting and am having some trouble.

I just learned the k2tog yo k2tog stitch from the wonderful video (thanks, I was stumped), but the next row calls for k3 (OK, no problem there) and then [yo p2tog]. My question is, how do you do a yo for a purl stitch? I'm stumped I guess because a yo calls for the yarn to be in front of the work, which is what you do automatically for a purl stitch.

Hope I explained it correctly.

Thanks,

Linda W

There is video herethat shows the yo before a purl toward the end of the video, I believe.
