Beginners Intarsia Pattern?
Have any ideas for a beginners pattern? I've never tired it before... I usually don't even stripe in my projects. I'm a firm believer in self striping yarn. I'd like to eventually progress to this project.

You could play with some of the charts here.

And this site has some good instructions.

I took a class from Leigh Radford (she wrote Alterknits) on Intarsia. Then she was on Knitty Gritty and showed the bag we made in her class. It was super easy and a great way to learn intarsia. Here's a link to the pattern and little videos how to do it.
