Help, I'm a new knitter and attempting my first prayer shawl, the pattern says K3,P3 to end, then next row, knit the purl stitches, and purl the knit stitches, mine looks like 3 x 3 ribbing, is the right? :crying:
It sounds like you have it reversed. You knit in the knits and purled in the purls. When you knit a stitch then turn the project, it "becomes" a purl on the side facing you, so you would knit into it. Same goes for purls. When you purl then turn the project, it "becomes" a knit, so you would purl into it. I hope this helped.
