I really like the pattern Kelly is doing... is it harder to do a top down pattern? I found another LYS nearby so I'm going to check it out tomorrow because I think they have that pattern.

I ordered my yarn yesterday, so I may or may not get it in time to finish this week's objective. The more I think about this sweater the more I want it! ( Candy from Knitty ) It's so cute and I've been droooooling over this kind of neckline for months (what is it called, a ballet neckline or whatever?).

I thought about changing the color scheme for a split second or two while I was ordering my yarn, but in the end the pink/cranberry won out because it's just so darn CUTE.

I really love the Tubey pattern that some of you all are working on - that cut is very flattering. I can't wait to see what colors you chose!

Im making the large (50" chest) and I ordered 1300 yds....if I remember correctly, it REQUIRES 1270. But that's MY size.

How much bigger will a quarter of a stitch gauge difference make the sweater?

Me too, knitterma. We'll be tardy together.

I love that pattern. Can't wait to see how it turns out. If it's not horrendous, I may try it.
