your Picovoli, knitqueen! Am putting it on my "to knit" list - and will definitely use the KP shine!

Thanks everyone . You know what the best part about this pattern is??? It FITS. The shaping is so well designed. AND there is so little finishing. No seaming which is the second best part, aside from the fit.

Go for it, Jazzmatazz!!

It looks REALLY great! I wonder how hard it would be to add sleeves to that pattern....

Grumperina actually gives a bit of a tutorial on adding sleeves here. Not a pattern, per se, more like ideas on what could make it work.

Knitqueen, that looks great! In the awfulest (is that a word?) case, you could do a big stripe at the bottom of some other color like black or white or something if you think you're running out. Or a black stripe with a skinnier white one on either side of it. Anyway, I sure like it.

I feel so lame after seeing the progress of others.

It's no excuse that my yarn arrived after the start date or that my hand has been bugging me. I'm going to set a goal of finishing the back this weekend. I've got a date at a yarn store on Sunday, so some not-interrupted-by-beagles knitting time will be possible.

Here is my progress so far (in reverse order...d'oh.):

I started my sweater today! Whoohoo! I've not reached the part where you separate for the sleeves yet, but I feel good that I've at least got it on the needles!

On the home stretch now. I'm taking a break for a few minutes, and to eat the chocolate pudding that dh made for me , then I'm going to measure my yarn to see how many rounds I have enough for (YES, I am cutting it that close with my yarn ) and will hopefully finish tonight. YAY!!!!
