Midget Booga (aka Boogette) Bag
Here it is - it is very cute, but VERY tiny. I knitted it with Elanns Peruvian Wool, did 34 rows on the bottom, forgot how many I was supposed to knit and then did 90 or so on the sides (so 30 more than specified). I used a 10 1/2 needle. I did six feet of I cord, and this was as big as I could stretch the sucker. Unfelted, it was humongous, probably about 12 inches by 10 inches....

And although it is very sweet, and yes its size is just what I planned, (yeah right), what happened? Did I felt too long? should I have increased my needle size? Or was it simply that this yarn was too skimpy????? I thought it was fairly comparable in gauge to the Noro.

It is cute, I like the colors.
Finished dimensions on the booga are only about 8" high by 7" wide. It is hard to tell for sure from your photo, but it looks like yours is about that. So, you didn't do anything wrong!

What a sweet little bag. Hey, there are no mistakes in knitting...just think of it as a design element!

Kitkat,

Go ahead and boogie with your "boogette" . I think it's cute. If you make another one it won't be the same size and you can have that purse in different sizes. I like it.
