yoke
Hey guys, there's a sweater I was planning on knitting eventually and it has a part labeled "yoke." Does anyone know what a yoke is? Here's the link for the pattern: http://knitty.com/ISSUEwinter04/PATTmariah.html

Thanks!

The yoke is the area between the start of the armholes and the neck.
