Knitting Socks Online Class
First time teaching myself to knit socks.. the online class is great but I have run into a problem understanding "The Heel Part Two' Step #6 Turning the heel... I can follow it but when it says to knit til to the next stitch before gap and then knit two together and the knit one more stitch and turn... then I am in the wrong postion to knit to the next gap... I have tried and tried and read and read and cannot get it right... would appreciate some help so very much... I am determined to get this...

Thanks all you knitters out there..

Welcome!

One one side you'll be knitting to a gap; on the other side you'll actually be purling to a gap. There are gaps on each side that help form the turn (the heel cup).

Does that help, or have I misunderstood you?
