Class at a LYS
Yay! There is a LYS in my area that also sells both weaving and spinning supplies. I finally got to stop in there yesterday for the first time. They have spinning classes! And they let you borrow a wheel for the duration of the class so you can be sure that you love spinning before you invest in a wheel! The only bad news is that they just collect names for the class, and schedule once they get enough people signed up. I put my name on the list and the woman said they are pretty close - she thinks they will probably have one at the end of January or beginning of February.
If anyone is in the St. Louis metro area and is interested in spinning, please call the Myers House Weaving Department in Florissant and put your name on the list for their spinning class. The more names on that list, the sooner I can take the class!

Wow, that sounds wonderful! You will love spinning. I don't live anywhere near you, so I can't help get the number of people in the class up, but I am sending positive thoughts in that direction that plenty of people up there will get the urge to learn to spin.
