Let me know if you can pair me up with someone specific? (And is the 5mo old still available to knit for? I have lots of baby patterns)
Thanks!!
Edited to add that I would love to make Todd (22yo) a newsboy cap. Do you know him? Would he like it? What color?

Hi Katy --
Thanks for jumping in!! Your note made me realize that I probably need to update the list w/ more appropriate ages because, for instance, Joseph is about 8 mos old now!
I think that you could probably knit just about anything, and they would be able to pair it up with a patient. I know that my friend in the Child Life Center has been quite thrilled w/ the items that have come in. Naturally, they like the caps that have been sent, but she's also been amazed at some of the more out-of-the ordinary things that you all have sent. So, I think that perhaps felted bags, clogs, cool & soft scarves as well as caps would all be welcome. Of course, there's always the stuffed bunnies and teddy bears, too!
As for Todd ... I have met his Mom, but I haven't really talked w/ him much. The chemo has been pretty hard on him, and the one or two times I've been there when he was, he was pretty withdrawn. You could go ahead & make the cap, though, and if the nurses in the chemo clinic didn't think he'd like it, I'm sure they could find someone to pair it up with.
I know that's not much help, is it?
