soaker rib help!!!!
Hi
I am trying to knit the pattern i bought from www.woolsoaker.com and i have made a mistake on the rib. instead of knitting 18 rows i only knitted 8  cos i read the wrong part of the pattern.
i am now halfway up the back and i dont really want to frog it.
can i pick up stitches and extend the rib upwards for the extra 10 rows?
its too short if i leave it as it is
hoping someone can help
Lois

You can absolutely do that. I've added ribbing to sweaters that were too short. You might be able to see where you added the extra ribbing to ribbing, but at least it will be long enough.

I recently added ribbing to the bottom of a sweater per Ingrid's suggestion (thanks so much!) at it wouldn't lay flat-but I blocked it and now you can't tell I ever altered it. I say go for it and if it lays funny, work it out when you block it. Good luck!
