Increasing help
Very new knitter, learning to increase

I've got 32 stitches and I'm about to start increasing. The instructions say "Knit across the next row, increasing 4 sts evenly across the row."

Does this mean I can do the increase-stitches wherever I choose, as long as they are evenly spaced? Is there a standard way of doing this?

everybody has their favorite method. if it doesn't tell you how then pick the one you like the best. Go watch Amy's videos and see which one you like the best.

and yup...i would probably scatter them every 8 stitches or so.....whatever as long as it is even.
