Okay, to be fair, I guess I should post a picture of the WOTA I dyed. Not Koolaid, though. This is done with Washfast Acid Dyes, if anyone is interested. And they are very easy to use. Mix with water, paint the yarn, spray with full strength vinegar before steaming.

I *think* this is the WOTA that Renee dyed with Carolyn for bacmiddy/
Christina Ya-Ya. I know for sure that it's dyed with Kool-Aid. It's a lovely blue and green.

Picture from our Palloween swap 15 Oct 05.

By the way, Christina was WAY more thrilled with the yarn than she looks in the photo, I am not the best photographer!!!

Thanks Denise!

Actually, Renee did that dyeing all by herself. Didn't she do a great job? And I know that Chris loved it, despite the story the picture seems to tell :rofling:

Funny that you should comment on the blue....that one color is actually Wilton dye. Finally, I can justify spending all that money on dumb tubs of dye for ridiculously intricate birthday cakes.

Well, you know, that Wilton dye will just have to multi-task now.

Wow, I love these hand-dyed yarns!! Y'all are an inspiration! Carolyn, that yarn you posted is impressive, what rich colors! Thanks also for the info on how you dyed it.

Thank you very much, Amy. I love to share. I had a great deal of trouble dyeing when I first started out, and I would have loved tips and tricks about dyeing at the time.
