How to.....crochet
Hello...
The best site Knittinghelp.com
As I am knitting for a few years, I still have to refer to this site. How I managed to find this site, I don't remember, but, the best find.

Now, I am wondering, is there a site like this for Crocheting. I know how to chain and single crochet.

Thank you, Ursula

Look up how to crochet on about.com. They have good pictures of the stitches. And they also list lots of links to crochet sites, but there isn't anything out there for crochet that equals this site. Good luck!

Thanks Sara
I know what you mean about good luck trying to find a good site for crocheting. I searched out the 'about ' site, but not that great. Need a video clip to make learning easier and fun. May just remain an avid knitter. This is a great site, and the forum where we can email our info or ask questions is wonderful.

Crochet is really simple. I think you should play around with it a bit if you're interested. You can PM me if you have any specific questions.

Now that I think about it, there is a CD that is sold at JoAnn's that is a crochet tutor, but I don't know the name of it. Can anyone supply that for us? But I think it is still photos, not video.

I got a Coats & Clark CD on crocheting from Hobby Lobby that has videos of course I haven't had time to really look at it much, too busy knitting.

There are videos galore at www.stitchguide.com, but they're not as good as the videos here, IMHO! They go pretty fast and there's not soothing, friendly voice talking you through everything.
