anybody want to get together and knit in the 'burgh?
Of all you knitters, there has to be somebody else here from pittsburgh, pa.!!!!

I want to knit together one or two nights a week--would be so much fun!!!!!

We can sit around, drink coffee or wine--or whatever, and just knit and chat!!!

Well darn all those miles in between our cities!!

I have a dear friends that lives in Philly and teaches at temple. I'll have to tell him I have a long distance knitting buddy there!!!

Happy knitting!

Hello Mt. Pleasant
I am in Brighton Heights--right over the bridge from McKees Rocks.
Relatively new here--my husband got a job here out of the military about a yr. and a half ago and I have been a student at Pitt ever since. Almost done with my BA and getting ready for law school. How close is Mt. Plsnt. from here?? I am absolutely terrible with where things are--my husband drives everywhere!!! lol. Let me know!

Mount Pleasant is about 30 to 45 minutes southeast of Pgh. I went to Pitt too! What are you studying?

Are you by Mancini's bread??

Kim-- a Pitt alumni!
Hello Kim,

I am a double major in History and Russian at Pitt. I LOVE it --such a great campus and atmosphere there. I am ready to be done with all the undergrad stuff, though...getting a bit old (the subjects--not me!).

Wish you were closer!!! I haven't been able to find people around here who know of any great yarn stores, so I feel all alone in my knitting!!!

I'm also about 4 hrs away from you... couldn't make it every week LOL... but maybe a KH - PA get- together sometime? Maybe in Harrisburg (is it just me or is it really odd that PA is one of the very few states where the capitol is actually in the middle of the state?? )
But, hi anyway to all the other PA knitters!!
