Just Goofing...
I was just goofing around with a couple balls of garden twine... and after tossing these in the washing machine, they actually came out pretty comfortable and warm. So I made more footies with regular yarns for my family, and they love them.
I was thinking about using copper wire next time, but one of my sons warned not to try it. Maybe he has a point.

Did ya make up your own pattern for those?
How many washings do you think garden twine will take?

Good thing twine isn't made from hemp anymore.
YOU'D HAVE TO DECIDE WHETHER TO WEAR YOUR SLIPPERS, OR SMOKE 'EM. :rofling:

I think those would be a great thing to make in a really big size to slip on over your regular shoes for mucking about in the garden, and then you can just slip them off, hose 'em down, and hang them on the clothesline to dry, and your regualr shoes stay clean! Kind of like the foot covers doctors wear in the hospital, just a little bit different principle.

Those look great, Trucker! What a creative idea to use the garden twine. I have a bunch of that in the garage- I'll have to give it a try sometime.

Those look like they would be good for exfoliating your feet! You'll have the smoothest feet in town!
