For those of you who are successful drop spinners
How long did you park and draft before you could drop it? I am fairly good at parking and drafting but I have immense trouble getting a tight twist without going into my fiber source. Maybe I am over spinning and just can't tell because of the whole park & draft thing?

Also, what method do you use: inchworm, long pull, etc.?

I think you'd be suprised at how many people don't get past the park. I could do it stnading sometime, but was much more efficient with the park and draft.

I also draft different in that I use a woolen as opposed to w worsted draft. I had the same problems with getting twist into the fiber before I switched.

No, I am not ashamed that I have a major crush on a man who dressed in tights and made faces for most of the 80's, and now plays a crippled drug addicted doctor...and is almost the same age as my father.
