A few helpful notes for anyone who would like to make one of these.

1. When knitting the belly (Not to be confused with the main body part that the pattern begins with), there is a row missing in the pattern (at least on the version of the pattern I have). Row 30 should be a "knit across". Row 30 should be 31, Row 31 should be 32 and so on.

2. The pattern tells you to sew the whole thing up before you make the ears and tail. You will save yourself a lot of trouble if you make and attach the ears and tail before you sew on the belly and knit the feet.

3. Don't forget to select needles that would normally be too large for the yarn you are using. This makes loose stitches and gives the wool space to move around and therefore helps with the felting process.

4. If you like the larger ears...

Cast on 4 st.
Row 1: Perl Across this and all odd numbered rows
Row 2: (K1, Mk1) until end of row ending in a K1
Row 4: SSK, K3, K2Tog
Row 6: SSK, K1, K2Tog
Row 8: SL1, K2Tog, psso

Good luck, let me know if you gals have any questions.

Sorry, I can't do an active link, but you can copy and paste this. I wasn't sure if everyone was aware that you could get this pattern in a Fibertrends single packet pattern. Looks like different sizes- they are just adorable! Check them out!

Look I fixed it!

OK, that picture just makes me get all googly inside!! They are SO CUTE!!! I want a flock of them in my front yard.

Oh, and JENinIA, if you type the text you want to show for your link, highlight it, then click the URL button above, you can then put a "=" after the URL w/in the brackets and copy your link in. That will create a live link, and it will allow your post to be of normal width!

example: [u r l=http://this.is.my.url]This is my text for my link[/url] (just make sure you don't type u r l w/ the spaces like I did ... I had to do that to get it to show)

Mr Tea, I have a question.

I have the book from the library that contains the pattern.

Row 30 says: K51, W&T, k47, W&T, K51-55 sts
Row 31 says (WS): Knit across.

So should Row 30 NOT be what I've typed here? Above you mentioned that Row 30 should be a Knit across and I want to be sure I'm clear on what you are meaning.

Thanks

That's the wrong row 30, Pens. I'm refering to the row 30 when you are knitting the "Inner legs and belly". Right now you appear to be knitting the body. You will knit the "Inner legs and belly" after you finish with the main body part.

Sorry for any confusion. And to avoid future confusion...

There are two "Row 30"s In the pattern. The flaw is on Row 30 of the "Inner Legs and Belly" body part, you will knit this part after the main body part is complete.
