I *know* I have to sacrifice one. :crying: Normally I would have done the two sleeves together, or at least knitted them one after the other, but that wasn't possible this time around. I knew I wouldn't be able to go full steam on this sweater until after New Year's, but I had to check on my tension and if I had purchased enough yarn since I'm subbing. What sucks is that the older sleeve is closer to what the pattern calls for, but I'm obviously knitting looser now for some reason. I don't want to play around with needles and such again, so I'm gonna have to frog.
Besides, I want the sweater to be larger anyway. The longer sleeve, unrolled, reaches in between my knuckles of my hand and the first knuckles of my fingers, so that's about right for a slouchy sweater with a rolled hem. I just need to decide whether to frog the sleeve first, or knit the back. I'm allowing myself another 10 days to finish this, since I want this project out of the way before starting my KO project.
