Entrelac

I'm just wondering, how the heck do you do entrelac?!? I just dont get it!!
I want to do it sometime. It's just so confusing!

I've done a couple of projects using entalac. It is very hard to understand, but once you've been through one repeat of the pattern, it's actually pretty easy. Once I got into it and watched the square take shape, it seemed sort of magical.

Anyway, this is the pattern I used first, for a square for a crazy-quilt afghan I was making. All I can say is just take one row at a time, don't try to understand the whole thing, and as Ingrid tells us, "trust the pattern."

Thanks! I love the colors of the blanket! :D Once I have the money, I'll buy some yarn and try that pattern!
