OT - Southern California Get Together?

Okay, I am jealous at all the meet-ups going on and am wondering if anyone else would like to try and do one for Southern California? I live in the Palm Springs area and would be happy to play hostess. I have a lovely living room for knitting! (Oh and did I mention the pool is just across the street and swimming weather is year round?).

Any takers?

I've never been to a knitting get-together before, though I've been to plenty of cross-stitch ones. I'm probably an hour or so west of you.

I live in South Orange County so it's pretty far, but it's not impossible. I don't drive that far myself, but my DH has a sister in PS. Let us know when you want to plan it and I'll see what we can arrange. I've been wanting to go to the outlet mall in Cabazon anyway so maybe we can combine the trip.

I think for me it would better a little further off...maybe in March. We just got back from our vacation and my DH is driving all the way to Tucson and back this next weekend. He might not be up for the drive so soon. LOL It might give more people time to see this thread if you hold off a bit, too. I know there are several other people in southern CA.

Whatever you decide and is best for you though since you are hosting it is what you should do. If I can't make it this time we can always try again.

Hey, I don't know how I missed this thread! (Thanks Jan) I was just in Palm Desert a couple of weeks ago, but always am game to go back. Sometime in March would be great.
