New Project: Emergency Shrug
Okay, so I have to wayside ALL my knitting for the next 7 days.

Why?

My birthday party is Saturday week and I have to have a shrug knitted by then...

Why?

Because all I could find to go with my skirt was a camisole, and I DON'T bare arms in public...

So I have 6 balls of lovely 4 ply Merino in a very pretty soft green, I am going to double strand it (I need it to knit up pretty fast, obviously).

Use 5mm needles for the cuff ribbing, then 8mm for the drop stitch pattern.

Wish me luck!

That's very pretty and should go quickly. I had to read your post to see what could be done with a shrug in an emergency, though. :rofling:

Have a wonderful birthday!!
