All right, Ingrid, Little Miss Spoil Sport!

I'm sure it's going to be miles of endless garter stitch, but it's done in several pieces, and I'm expecting that to break up the boredom. Also, it's done in a bulky yarn, which will help it to knit up fast. I'm thinking it will make a good "mindless knitting" project for those times when I'm watching the Olympics or my daughter do TaeKwonDo.

So, NYAH

ETA: And the society is secret cause we don't want any of you Spoil Sporty Smarty Pantses to try and spoil it for us. And besides, just 'cause!

My yarn came in yesterday, and I really like the color. I think it was called taupe... it's a nice heathery brown. I started a quickie shrug from Knit It! on Sunday. The back and the 2 little fronts are done, just have to do a couple of inches on the first sleeve and the second sleeve, should be done by Friday.

In the meantime, I can start winding 14 hanks of Lopi into balls so I can get started this weekend. I know, it's a lot of garter stitch, but there are lots of pieces and directions to knit in . And since I really want the coat, I'm willing to garter stitch my way through it. Good TV knitting.

Besides, when I'm not knitting I'm supposed to be painting the entire inside of the house, so actually, garter stitch looks pretty good .
