I have had two unexpected UPS deliveries this week, and both times I was all excited to answer the door because I thought my yarn was here. Neither of them were the yarn. :(

I sent an email to Joann's today, and I'm supposed to hear back from them w/in 48 hours, at which time my yarn had BETTER be here, or they're going to have an awfully unhappy customer on the phone.

I'm so tough.

The yarn in the photo is but a smidgen of the boxfull I ordered for the coat... It's very soft and cushy. I can't wait to get started!

Oh, it's OK, Angelia

Perhaps you could cheer me up by telling me where you got YOUR yarn in case I have to place a new order. Or maybe you could just send me yours.

Nice yarn Angelia!! I can't wait to start, I think I might start on Friday!

Julie, so sorry about your yarn! Completely unacceptable!

Silver, your Lopi came in hanks? I wonder why mine is in skeins already

No, she's fine, I just WANT SOME YARN -- that was just my feeble attempt at trying to intimidate you.

The GOOD NEWS is that I just took a look @ Herrschner's, and they have the SAME YARN (Paton's Shetland Chunky) as Joann's (different color -- Berry Ragg), and it's $1.97/skein!!!! I just ordered 14 more balls. So, now I can be assured that my Joann's order will arrive this afternoon.

(I also threw The Great American Aran Afghan book. :D My day is complete.)
