weaving ends in very stretchy pattern
Morning everyone -
I'm new here as of last night finishing up an 4 by 5 1/2 feet afghan in a lace pattern much like feather and fan. Now I only have to weave in the loose ends and this is where my question lies.
I don't know anything about yarn weights really but can only say it is a 'one pound' Caron knit on #10 1/2 needles. I've also paid no attention to tension and don't know how to accurately measure that ... my guess would be 4 stitches to the inch width wise and lengthwise ... but what do I know. Just trying to be as specific as possible.
My question is: becuz it is sooo stretchy ... is there something special I should be doing with the loose ends? I'm thinking just weaving it in with a similar tension as exists isn't going to be effective cuz when it stretches Easily, the relaxed tension doesn't matter in the least.
I don't know if I'm being clear ... but have tried my best here ...
Any response quickly would be appreciated - still need to send this off in the mail for Valentines day...
Thank you all,
Margie ( llaffing )
