This sweater made me go "EEEEEE!"
With glee, that is.

Eris Pullover and Cardigan from Girl from Auntie.

This is absolutely beautiful, and I'm probably going to have to knit it at some point when I have experience with the tricky cables.

Just thought I'd share with those who may not know this gem is out there.

Oh, I had forgotten I had wanted to knit that. I'm going to Florida on vacation next month and I wanted a kinda big project to take with me. Maybe this will be it. What yarn would you use?

I'm thinking these yarns may be the way to go... I see them recommended for a lot of aran projects, and the colors are freekin gorgeous. Another one I hear mentioned a lot are Harrisville Highland...it's a worsted, but comes in cones...

Mind you, what I really should start focusing on, instead of next fall are some sewing pattern purchases for summer skirts, to wear with all the knit tops I plan on making. Can you tell how much I hate planning for spring & summer wardrobes?
