thanks for posting that Jessi--only 4 hours and 45 min. for me. Unfortunately I just noticed that I only have really long straights in the size I need for my KO project...I would run frantically out of the store to go get the correct size but I have a cold and really don't feel good...bummer. Maybe if I take a shower...(it's amazing...I didn't feel good enough to go to work but here I am contemplating a trip to Michaels...and I do have a coupon....hummm...)

Amazing the power of knitting! I have to take my test for an online class before 2:00 because if I don't I will never get it taken! I will be to busy knitting. I have all the yarn and needles that I need, my name chart is printed and ready to go, now I must hurry up and wait!

Good luck to all of you Olympians!

Wynnie... I absolutely LOVE that smiley!!!

Here is the official word from the Harlot herself:
Quote:
Here's the executive decision. The Opening Ceremonies start at 8pm Torino time. Torino is six hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time, which would mean starting at 2pm in the afternoon.
How about we agree on 2pm February 10th, no matter where you are? (Does that help those of you without a tv?)
Link is to the source page for that quote... so that means 2 pm wherever you are. For me, that's 2 pm CST... I hope I can stay awake that long!

My dd Julia is doing a knitted knome, and now my other kids all want one as well! I may never get to my actual project.

I'm starting to feel I may be on Team Procrastiation. heh

Don't feel bad...I have started over three times since 2:00 and a few minutes ago I woke up to the ringing phone. I have a cold--I guess it's getting the best of me.

It's 4:30 here, and I just woke up about an hour ago. I had a quick bite to eat, and now I'm trying to figure out how to do the provisional cast-on, and how wide to make each of the stripes.

I'm going to start when they air here at 7. Going to a friends house and hanging out, checking out all the hot athletes.

No, I am not ashamed that I have a major crush on a man who dressed in tights and made faces for most of the 80's, and now plays a crippled drug addicted doctor...and is almost the same age as my father.

By the way, what needle size should I use for a 3x4 lap blanket?? 11's, 13's, or 15's??
