FO: My first sock

I had a TIME with those stitches toward the end
when I didn't have that many left to do. The toe is more pointy than
what I wanted, but then again, my foot is slightly pointed so I guess
it looks ok.....the Kitchener stitch gave me a fit until I got used to
it...hopefully the next toe will look a little better.

Yarn is Trekking XXL (I forget the name of it) knit on dpns size 1.

I'm starting sock #2 tomorrow.

Great job!

I just finished my first pair of socks recently and trust me, the second sock goes much easier, and looks neater too!

Kitchener stitch is sooo awkward at first, (i had to rip it out and do it 3 times to get it right on the first sock) but it seems to get easier too. So it only gets easier from here! good luck with number 2 sock!

wow, you did your first sock with actual sock yarn and size 1 needles?! You're awesome!

The kitchener stitch got me too the first time i did it.
