new knister needs help

Help :( I'm still working on my first real knit project...a basket weave pattern baby blanket for my first grandbaby due next month. I have dropped a stitch on the edge and I'm not sure how to pick up the stitch and work it back up the 3 rows that it unraveled through. I have learned how to pick up stitches and correct wrong stitches, but I'm confused by the edge...There are loops instead of the ladder.

oooh, I'm not sure how to do that either-but I did want to mention you may get more help if you post this question in the "How-to Questions" section.

I think you could just pull it through the loop over and over till you get it back up to your current row. But I'd wait for someone else's advice, because I've not been knitting all that long and I always call my dmom when I have a problem

lol-she's always the voice of calm and helps me not panic.

Thanks for the reply and the suggestion, Jaxhil. I went to the Questions thread and someone posted the exact same ? for a scarf that they are working on. Her thought was to frog until she got past the dropped stitch, something I had considered. I was just hoping for an easy, quick fix

But it may be faster to go ahead and rip and then get back to

I'll probably catch back up before I figure out how to pick up the dropped stitch :thinking:
