Anyone else flying through their KO project?
I'm finishing one of the FT Clogs this morning...just binding off and such. I've got 3 more to go, and this is definitely not going to last me til the closing ceremonies. I wish I had my original project. :(

I've pretty much changed projects and thought I'd never be able to finish the new one in time but since KO started--I've done nothing but knit. Maybe I'll get it finished afterall...it's a baby blanket...

Wow Yarnmommy! You are FAST! Are these the first clogs you've made?

I have about 3.5 in of the top of my sock done. So no, I'm doing okay, but not flying.

I'm into the fourth increase section on my clapotis, which seems like a lot, but looking at the final dimentions, it's nothing at all. Also looking at all the yarn that needs to be knit up in this, it's going to be close, I think.

These are the first, yes. I had heard they were difficult, and I had to call a friend on one part, but I just followed it line by line. Plus they are on 13 needles with doubles yarn, which makes them go fast.

I am debating on whether to just start on my daughter's afghan when I am done with the clogs, or get the kids clog pattern and make 2 more pairs for my girls. I'm halfway through the second one for my dh's pair thanks to Saturday morning cartoons. lol

I thought I was
I thought I was flying through my KO project BUT I've had 2 things happen:
1. my gauge in actual knitting (20stsx24rows=4") is not what it was in my swatch (16stsx20rows=4")
2. I've been doing K tbl instead of K (and just found out thanks to this site)

I'm not sure what to do. I'm doing Glampyre's One-Skein-Wonder shrug and I'm about halfway through the body. To address #1, should I rip it all out and start again with size 9 needles? (Pattern calls for size 8). 'Course that would address #2 as well if I actually K where called for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm going faster than I thought I would. I have done the heel flap of my first sock and am now getting ready to pick up stitches for the instep. I have so many things on my "to knit" list (and on the needles waiting for me to come back to) that I'm glad to see how fast these are going....

You might want to put your stitches on a piece of yarn with a tapestry needle and hold the shug around you to see if it fits, anyway. If there's no chance, then you need to start over. If the part you're making doesn't look like it will fit, then frog. It's worth a try-on, though.
